The Omaroo Suite 

a project in collaboration with Manyung Gallery and Framed Future Architects Sydney

​

In late 2023 Greg completed a site-specific suite of works for a luxury apartment complex located in the spectacular landscape of Church Point at Pittwater north of Sydney.

The brief was to reflect the surrounding landscape and coastline in a series of compatible paintings that could hang together in groups or as solo pieces .

Theme 1 The Jewel Sea 

this series explores the tidal inlets, rockpools and coastal features including the ever-changing blues and greens of the water.

Theme 2 -The natural bush 

This collection is inspired by the palette of the building itself and the use of stone as well as the surrounding eucalyptus forests and sedimentary rock formations and scared sites of the nearby national park

The Art Works 

The Omaroo suite consists of square ( 50 x50 cms ) and rectangular ( 120 x 50 cms) compositions that can be mixed and matched in various configurations They are available for purchase or commission

Macquarie Park Mausoleum Sydney 

a project in collaboration with Manyung Gallery and Gardner Wetherill Architects Sydney

The spectacular Walumatta Centre was opened in 2018 .Greg was commissioned to create 4 large site-specific paintings for the foyer and entry areas . The theme for the suite was The River a reference to the journey of life. Depictions of nearby rivers such as The Hawkesbury and Nepean represented the beginning and end of the life cycle .
