The Omaroo Suite 

a project in collaboration with Manyung Gallery Group and Framed Future Architects

In late 2023 Greg created a site specific suite of works for a luxury apartment complex located in the spectacular landscape of Church Point at Pittwater north of Sydney .

The brief was to reflect the surrounding landscape and coastline in a series of compatible paintings that could hang together in groups or as solo pieces 

Having lived and studied in Sydney the artist was familiar with the area and has a long association with specific locations including nearby Ku ring gai National Park

Theme  1 The Jewel Sea ;

This series of works explore the tidal inlets , rockpools and coastal features including the ever changing blues and greens of the water

Theme 2 The Natural Bush 

This collection is inspired by the  palette of the building itself and natural surfaces used as well as the surrounding eucalyptus forests , sedimentary rock formations and also sacred sites within the national park.

The Art works 

The Omar0o suite consists of square  ( 50 x 50 cms ) and rectangular compositions (120 x 50 cms ) that can be mixed and matched in different configurations..

They are available for purchase or commission .
